How many of my hours from last year carry over to this year? 

All member hours (excluding freshmen) reset on December 10th, 2023. Hours earned starting December 11, 2023 (after Candy Cane) carry over to the fall 2023 hours. Freshman hours do not reset, meaning that sophomores enter the year with the total number of hours they completed in 2021.

What happens if I do not show up to an event? 

If you do not show up to an event and do not reach out to an officer prior to the start of the event, you will lose the number of hours you would have earned at the event.

What happens if I leave a general membership meeting early?

Members who attend General Membership meetings are expected to remain for the duration of the meeting. Early departures are subject to the loss of 1 hour.

How many hours do I need to attend the Candy Cane Ball 2023?

Senior, junior, and sophomore members are eligible if they have completed 25 hours ( not including new members).

How many hours do I need to attend the Candy Cane Ball 2023 as a new member?

As a new member of the Girls Club, the member must have completed 12 hours to be eligible to go.

How many hours do I need to walk in the Fashion Show?

Junior and senior members are eligible if they have completed 10 hours between December 12, 2023 to April 1, 2024.

How many hours do I need for to run for office?

Any member that has completed 10 community service hours and has attended 4 of 6 General Membership meetings (between September and March) is eligible.

How do I achieve 25 hours between December of 2023 and December of 2024? 

Attend all 8 general membership meetings and complete 17 hours of community service in total. This is approximately 2 hours of community service per month. Plan to complete 15 hours of service in the spring, and 10 hours in the fall, not including general membership meetings.
